Our Faith commitments

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s revelation to humanity that was written by men who were supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit and is inerrant in the original writings. Scripture is fully trustworthy and the final authority for all faith and life.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Mark 13:31; John 8:31–32; John 20:31; Acts 20:32

We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three coequal and coeternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each equal in nature, glory, and power, yet distinct in role and work.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:21–22; John 17:3; Matthew 3:13–17; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–4; Acts 5:3–4; Colossians 2:9

We believe God the Father sovereignly rules over creation and redemption for His glory. Infinite, eternal, and unchanging, He is perfect in holiness, wisdom, love, and justice.

Psalm 90:2; Romans 11:36; Isaiah 46:9–10; John 1:18; Ephesians 1:3–6; Romans 8:15–17; Hebrews 12:5–9

We believe Jesus Christ, the eternal Son, became man through the virgin birth. Fully God and fully man, He lived sinlessly, died as our substitute, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return in power and glory.

John 1:1, 14; Luke 1:35; Hebrews 4:15; Romans 3:24–25; 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 28:6; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18

We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ by convicting the world of sin and regenerating, indwelling, and empowering believers for godly living, service, and witness.

John 16:8, 14; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:13–14; Romans 8:9–17; 1 Corinthians 12:4–13

We believe God created humanity, male and female, in His image to glorify Him. Through Adam’s sin, all people became sinners by nature and choice, separated from God and in need of salvation.

Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:10–19; 6:23; Ephesians 2:1–3

We believe salvation is by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. His death and resurrection fully satisfy God’s justice, granting forgiveness of sin and new life to all who repent and believe. Genuine faith produces obedience, love, perseverance, and a life lived for God’s glory.

1 Corinthians 15:3–4; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 8:29–30; Ephesians 2:8–9

We believe all believers are united in the body of Christ, the Church, of which He is the head. Believers gather locally for worship, teaching, fellowship, the ordinances, and serving together in love and unity.

1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Colossians 1:18; Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42–46; Matthew 28:18–20

We believe every believer and church is called to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all nations for God’s glory among future generations.

Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; Titus 1:5

We believe Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return. He will raise the saved to eternal joy and the lost to eternal judgment.

Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; John 5:28–29; Matthew 25:31–46; Revelation 20:15

Isaiah 6:8

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
